Connect with our students

Share Your Experience With the Next Generation of Design Professionals

One of the most valuable learning opportunities we can provide students is direct interaction with professionals working in the architecture, engineering, design, and construction industries.

We are looking for professionals who are interested in connecting with students and sharing their knowledge, experience, and perspective. Whether you have thirty minutes to speak with a class, would like to host students for a firm tour, or have an idea for a hands-on workshop, we would be glad to hear from you.

There is no expectation of a long-term commitment. Opportunities can range from a single classroom visit to ongoing involvement with students and the program.

Ways to Get Involved

Industry professionals may participate in a variety of ways, including:

  • Speak to a class about your career, firm, projects, or area of expertise

  • Host students for a firm or office tour

  • Lead a workshop or technical demonstration

  • Participate in a student project critique or design review

  • Review student portfolios and provide professional feedback

  • Discuss career paths and opportunities within the industry

  • Participate in a panel discussion or career conversation

  • Provide mentorship or job-shadowing opportunities

  • Share emerging technologies, materials, workflows, or industry practices

  • Suggest another activity or collaboration

You do not need to be an architect to participate. We welcome professionals from across the architecture, engineering, construction, interiors, planning, development, manufacturing, and related design industries.
